In collaboration with the Stiftung Neue Synagoge Berlin - Centrum Judaicum, the main hall of the Oranienburgerstraße Synagogue was to be depicted in a simplified, textureless yet graphically appealing style. A “comic” style was chosen for this purpose, emphasizing the geometric edges. This model served as one of the foundations for the artistic, immersive work “Verwandlung,” which was presented as part of the exhibition “Gefühlsdinge” (May 22, 2025 – April 12, 2026). The model also incorporates scans of preserved original fragments and objects from the synagogue that are stored in the Centrum Judaicum’s repository, such as a metal partition from the bimah.
